CEIR Zimbabwe registers legal devices using IMEI number as a unique identifier. Of all the stolen mobile devices in Zimbabwe, approximately 30% of them are recovered and about 70% of them went undetected because there is no constant follow-up of the stolen/lost devices. Our system is handy in the sense that we check across networks, we check the authenticity of the device to see if the IMEI/ESN/MEID is not fake or duplicated or missing, then we track your cellphone device.
