LK Cellular Connect Zimbabwe is the sole supplier of stolen/lost cell phone blacklisting services in Zimbabwe. Its aim is to work with the Law Enforcement Agents to reduce crime rate, eliminate fraud in Zimbabwe as a whole and beyond with our system and technical know-how. We have what it takes to recover stolen/lost cell phones for our subscribers. Our database system can give the cell phone device history of up to ten years; hence we have strengths in that aspect.
Of all the stolen mobile devices in Zimbabwe, approximately 30% of them are recovered and about 70% of them went undetected because there is no constant follow-up of the stolen/lost devices. Our system is handy in the sense that we check across networks, we check the authenticity of the device to see if the IMEI/ESN/MEID is not fake or duplicated or missing.
The system is aimed at protecting consumer rights, increased revenue for the government via taxes, improved national security; increase revenue for the genuine mobile phone manufacturers as well as improved GSM networks in the country.
