How we operate for you

For the purpose of tracking mobile phones, LK Cellular Connect Zimbabwe has established a Central Equipment Identity Register (CEIR) for all cellular devices. This action has been taken to combat smartphone theft in Zimbabwe.

Make sure the mobile phone you plan to purchase has never been reported lost or stolen by consulting the CEIR database. Notifying the Zimbabwe Republic Police right away in the event of theft, loss, or fraud is advised. For mobile phone tracking, you must first obtain a police report and register the mobile device with us.

What We Use IMEI Numbers For:

The IMEI number or in other words International Mobile Equipment Identity is a unique 15-digit code that precisely identifies the device with the SIM card input. The first 14 digits are defined by GSM Association organization. The last digit is generated by an algorithm named Luhn formula and it has a control character. This number is an individual number assigned to each and every phone all over the world. The easiest way to check IMEI number on any phone is to use the *#06# sequence on the dial pad.
